Size guide & care

Everything you need to know about sizing, styling, and caring for your FARWA.

Sizing

Our coats are designed with a relaxed, enveloping fit, and are offered in combined sizes: S/M and M/L.

Because the cut is loose and unstructured, most people are comfortable in either size — the choice is about how much drape you want, not about fit in the tailoring sense. If you are between the two, send us the wearer's usual jacket size and height and we will tell you which we would send.

How to wear your farwa

The same FARWA can be styled in two distinctive ways — choose the drape that suits your occasion.

Half-calf drape

A modern, versatile look.

Draping your FARWA to half-calf creates a contemporary silhouette that pairs beautifully with both traditional and Western attire. Ideal for everyday elegance and semi-formal occasions.

  • —Perfect for layering over kanduras or casual attire
  • —Provides warmth without restricting movement
  • —Popular choice for daily wear

Full length

The classic, regal presentation.

Wearing your FARWA at full length creates a dramatic, flowing silhouette that commands attention. Perfect for formal events, cultural celebrations, and making a statement.

  • —Traditional look for formal events and celebrations
  • —Maximum elegance and coverage
  • —Creates a flowing, majestic silhouette

Care

Your FARWA is crafted from 100% premium faux suede — a material that will last for years with proper care. These guidelines maintain its velvety texture and refined appearance.

Everyday

  • —Use a faux suede brush to gently remove dust and maintain the nap
  • —Brush in one direction to preserve the velvety texture
  • —Allow your FARWA to air out between wears

Storage

  • —Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
  • —Use a breathable garment bag — never plastic
  • —Hang on a padded hanger to maintain shoulder shape
  • —Add cedar blocks to deter moths naturally

Washing

  • —Machine washable at 30°C on a delicate cycle
  • —Air-dry only — never tumble dry, as heat damages faux suede fibres
  • —For minor spots, use a faux suede eraser or damp cloth
  • —Use a faux suede protector spray before first wear
